Denton Town 6 Manchester City 4 a.e.t (4-4 FT) L/cup U11's - A player's view.

Well where do i start , we got off to a very nervy start today it was strange without Allen being there, we all missed him very much. City got off to a good start with the first goal coming after 2 minutes, we soon equalized with a well taken goal from Gabby. We held our heads up and took control of the game and scored our second. City came back again and soon scored the equalizer. We knew City were up for this match but theres no way we was going to give up without a fight. Fonzy and John did a great job managing us and all the parents were fantastic supporters (better than City). We took the lead again with a good goal from little becks (shes had the best game yet). Emily and Becks were brill in defence as usual and Nikkia (Ikea) pulled off some good saves. Me, Molly, Kendel and Georgia held the midfield well and kept City in their own half most of the match. Gabby was superb upfront as always and scored another blinder but you guessed it, City pulled one back. A few minutes before full-time Gabby scored again and we thought that that was it but City equalized to carry it into extra-time.(full-time 4-4). After a short break and a few words from Fonzy we knew we had to keep working hard, and thats just what we did. Gabby scored yet another to make it 5-4 and we knew City were tiring, we kept going strong and Kendel finished it off with a well taken goal. Final result 6-4 after extra-time. We hope we all made Allen proud, we are all very proud for acheiveing what we have so far this season and know that we have a good chance of winning the treble (Bring em on). Well done girls and see you all on thursday. Can't wait to see you thursday Allen.
