Load of changes today to give people experience of playing in a different role. Still too strong for Roach, though they do have the basis for a very good team. Good strike by Kayleigh to set us off after 2 mins, which now makes it 2 in 2 for her. Then the moment we were are hoping for , Nicole off the mark with her first of the season, and could of had a couple more, which now means that all outfield players have scored. Chloe W was brought out of the nets by Alan in the last quarter of an hour, with Georgia taking her place between the sticks. Chloe W was supposed to be upfront, but kept difting back to midfield - what was going on Chloe, didn't you want to score? Nevermind, another chance vs. Urmston on Tuesday. Ruby scored her 1st since the end of February, to make it 3-0 just after the break, and a fine hat-trick in 8 mins by Natalie, with a quick one following on by Chloe B, completed another comfy victory. Well done to Nat for getting player of the match, their's was the player with no number, and I gave Dave 9/10.
2 mins 1-0 Kayleigh
24 mins 2-0 Nicole
half time
36 mins 3-0 Ruby
45 mins 3-1 Goad by Roach which they deserved
49 mins 4-1 Natalie
51 mins 5-1 Natalie
57 mins 6-1 Natalie
59 mins 7-1 Chloe B
Good fun with the Champagne at the end - Alan said on the phone later that he stinks with all the different drinks that were thrown over him. Urmston on Tuesday at theirs. I contact you all with the details. Remember, they want revenge for the 6-1 drubbing, so be on your guard, and let's finish the season with a great performance.

Considering they normally score 20+ goals, and you also managed to score for the first time against them, TERRIFIC - REAL IMPROVEMENT!
We are absolutely DELIGHTED and feel very PROUD of ALL of you.
And I don't think it is a fluke, because you gave Rochdale a really hard time in the last game, so things are looking UP!
Great goal by Prossy, which we derserved, and congrats to Tiarna for being promoted as our first proper captain. We chose Tiarna because she puts 100% into every game, works through the pain barrier with her knee problem, and isn't scare to give out instructions to her team mates during the game. And Hannah, I didn't know you could head the ball, FANTASTIC, your were MAGNIFICENT. Great to see Megan getting back into it as well, but honestly, everyone worked their socks off, and if you carry on like that, you will start to beat teams, and I mean good teams. Prossy got player of the match from City, so well done.
Next Thursday, there is a strong possibility of us playing Droyslden at their place, but I will contact you when it is defo.
Happy days! Nigel.

Fantastic win by the 10's beating Curzon 1-0. Unfortunately, I couldn't be there to see, but what I've been told, it was a great match.
I made it just in time on my bike (with 13's Nat, Chloe B, Karl from the boys 12's, and their friends), to watch the 12's, who never gave up, and had several chances to score. Luck did seem to favour City a bit more, though I'm taking nothing away from their performance, they are a well organised team, borne out in their results this season, winning all 16 league games.
Everyone put it in, and Beth even played on in some discomfort with her injury. Don't be too down girls, you got there, and you will again.
Thanks to Allen and Kate with the 10's and Andy with the 12's, and a warm welcome to Sarah who is going to be assisting Andy as much as possible over the coming weeks.
A big big thank you to Mike and dad Billy, plus the players that turned up to support us from the Ladies' team. Your attendance was much appreciated.

First of all can I say a BIG WELL DONE TO THE UNDER 10S on their win in their cup final. It was a great game to watch. If you were a neutral then it would have been great to see a draw but seeing as im a Denton Town fan I think we just deserved to win. Everybody played really well so once again WELL DONE
Now to the u12s. I think the scoreline was once again flattering to Manchester City one of these days the luck will go our way, I hope you all enjoyed the experience and take it into next season and next time we play City we will BEAT them, the scoreline is coming down.
A BIG THANK YOU to all the supporters who turned up to watch the matches, we were by far the best supported teams and we have the smallest squads. I was their all day and although i was tired when I got home I had a great day. I really enjoyed the experience.
Thanks should also go to ALLEN ANDY AND KATE for all the hard work theyve all put in during the last three years. also a very warm welcome to SARAH who is going to coach the u12s next season and take us to another final (I hope)
Well once again WELL DONE to each and every one of you. you did yourselves proud.

Well done girls on another comfortable victory, though you will have to step it up a gear or two vs. Deans and Urmston.
Fantastic goal by Rebecca, her first of the season. Did she mean it, or didn't she? Who cares; they all count!
Another hat-trick for Nat (her sixth of the season including a 7 goaler v. Wythenshawe Town), which means she is on 37 just 2 behind Yoyo who also bagged another today. A great brace by Sally (now on 5), and single by Chelsea giving her 3 this season.
Hopefully Deans on Weds at Denton Town's senior pitch, but I'll let you know. Stats follow: -
1 min 1-0 Nat
6 mins 2-0 Yoyo
8 mins 2-1 Shannon the No. 6 from Sale - their player of the match
20 mins 3-1 Sal
22 mins 4-1 Nat
24 mins 5-1 Nat Brill hat-trick
25 mins 6-1 Sal completes her brace
Half-time - only 30 mins each way due to Sale's late arrival. We also played 8v8 as they were short.
31 mins 7-1 Chelsea 1st goal since Nov
44 mins 8-1 Becks wonder goal and 1st of season.
Well done to Chloe B for winning player of the match.
Dave did fine, both managers gave him 10/10, and got to say, they're a decent lot from Sale.

Last night's result very important, because, as I said in my last post, if Poynton can beat Deans, then they are more than capable of beating us. Not the best game of football I've ever seen, but you did enough, some good passing moves, and although we scored less, they seemed to have far less clear cut chances than last Saturday. Another clean sheet, which is always pleasing.
Nat got player of the match, and for them we picked the 'big' number 15 (they had two number 15s playing). Dave the ref did ok, couple of mistakes I thought, so gave him 8/10. For his age, Dave is by far the best referee I've seen, and if he wants to, I'm sure he can make a career out of it.
2 mins 1-0 Yoyo
33 mins 2-0 Georgia
half time
43 mins 3-0 Yoyo
69 mins 4-0 Nat.
Now you have to keep your feet on the ground and take nothing for granted - I know I keep saying it, but remember Flixton - won 10-0 at ours, then lost 6-7 at theirs. Final games are: -
Sat 21st April Sale United at HOME
Weds 25th April Urmston Meadowside AWAY. Anybody struggling to get there, let me know a.s.a.p. - don't leave it until the last minute.
Sat 28th April Roach Dynamoes HOME
Weds 2nd May Deans HOME
See you all Saturday, when I will have some sample shirts for you to try - so don't leave after the match.

Thank you to everyone for observing the 2 minutes silence in memory of Anna Law of Sale U12's, who was killed recently in a car accident. Deepest condolences to her family at this sad time.
After Poynton beating Deans, I thought this could be a banana skin on our push for the title, and when they hit the bar at 0-0, I was a little concerned. Needn't have worried though, as you shone through in the end, and without getting out of first gear really. Don't rest on your laurels though, because as you know we've got them again on Weds (arrive 5:45 in white shirts), and if they can beat Deans 4-3, they must have something about them. Great to see Chloe W playing outfield for a change, and didn't she do well! Bit worried about Georgia in nets though - well dodgy keeper LOL. Only joking Georgia. Well done to Kayleigh for getting player of the match; for them we gave it to the little number 8 with the long hair, for 100% effort. The ref as you know was their coach, but I thought he was as fair as he could be, so awarded him 9/10. This is when the goals were scored: -
11 mins 1-0 Yoyo
15 mins 2-0 Yoyo
26 mins 3-0 Nat
31 mins 4-0 Nat
Half-time
38 mins 5-0 Sam
42 mins 6-0 Nat (Hat-trick)
63 mins 7-0 Yoyo (Hat-trick)
